Cycle-camera action

An increasing number of cyclists now use video head-cams. This is not because they like to watch endless repeats of their morning commute, but for protection. The mere presence of a camera has a sobering effect on some drivers, and if you are unlucky enough to get into bother, having evidence of what actually happened can be extrememly useful. Whether or not the police will start using video evidence in prosecutions remains to be seen. For now though, here are links to some of Leeds' cycle commuters video efforts. Please be aware that being cut up by a bus can cause riders to 'vocalise their discomfort' - although if you are more offended by this than the actions of the driver you might want to reassess your attitude. If anyone wants their link adding just contact the campaign.
