Leeds Summat

Leeds Cycling Campaign will be hosting a workshop and stand at the Summat, on Saturday 8th November at Leeds University Union.

Leeds for Change aims to strengthen the existing cooperation between social change groups in Leeds, draw in others who want to get involved and make it easy to share skills and resources. The project started as a collaboration between Leeds Tidal, Together for Peace and Taking Soundings. Leeds for Change has a website and is organising an event, "Summat New", following on from two "Leeds Summats", in 2009 and 2011. The last Summat attracted over 1300 people, 35 workshops and 70 stalls. Now the event is hosted by Leeds for Change in collaboration with the Economic Justice Project.

Get connected, share skills and join in action for change, with a day of guest speaker panels, workshops hosted by groups from Leeds and further afield, films, music, arts and crafts, comedy, food, and lots in between! In the evening, we will be celebrating with a pay-as-you-feel dinner by The Real Junk Food Project, music from Leeds choirs and comedy from Chris Coltrane.

Please come along and attend the workshop, or chat to us on the stand.
