An easy paced (about 12mph on the flat) mainly flat ride using a variety of traffic free cycle routes which are nearly all well surfaced. First south to Methley for an early elevenses stop at Rivers Meet cafe (12 miles), then to Castleford where we cross the River Aire by the 'wavy' bridge before heading home via Allerton Bywater, Garforth, Barwick, Thorner (possibility of pub stop) and Shadwell. Not suitable for ultra thin tyred bikes.
