The HSBC City Ride in Leeds will take place on Sunday 10 September. As the leading cycling campaign organisation in the city, we want to have a strong presence, with a gazebo (possibly on Millennium Square, or wherever the activity zone is located). We want to encourage people who come just for the day to become more regular cyclists, play a part in campaigning for better facilities, and maybe even join us as members. Having other people riding round the streets in LCC t-shirts would be a good form of publicity too.
If you think you can help out on the day, or in any other way with preparations for the event, please try to get along to this planning meeting on 17 August. We will meet in the ground floor meeting room at the Adelphi Hotel on Hunslet Road from 7pm. It will be an informal meeting - drinks available from the bar.
