Leeds Cycling Campaign are delighted to welcome the arrival of 10 secure cycle hangars across Leeds city centre. We have campaigned vigorously for extensive secure cycle parking in Leeds for the last 3 years, pressing Leeds City Council (and many others) to provide parking and tackle cycle theft. More recently we supported the Council in securing funding for the hangars and deciding where they should be sited. The present 10 hangars are a trial. If they are well used we will push for more across the city centre and further afield - so we do hope everyone makes good use of them. They are app operated, you can download the app at the cycle hangars or access the Hooplr smartphone app.
