Moortown Co-op

The proprosed route will be:

9.00 am  Moortown Co-op

Bramhope, Menston, Ilkley, Bolton Bridge (refreshments), Gated Road to Eastby then Barden.  Return to Bolton Bridge (possibly via Storiths), back roads to Ilkley, Otley, etc.

An intermediate ride of approx 36 miles to Ilkley via Eccup, Bramhope, the Chevin, Menston, and the Cow and Calf, coming back via Askwith, Otley, Pool, Bramhope (a few options for some extensions / extra hills on the way back!). One stop in Ilkley, probably at Booths but an option to try somewhere new for anyone interested.

Mainly flat, on road, circular route from Moortown, going round Wetherby for elevenses at Thorpe Arch (25 miles), Cawood and Birkin (49 miles). Back via Allerton Bywater. Total 70 miles to Roundhay Park, less to Leeds centre. The Birkin Fisheries Tea Rooms is highly recommended by other cyclists.
