Come and learn to ride your bike in time for summer!
Fun, relaxed lessons for children who'd like to learn how to ride their bike without stabilisers. This session is for those who can't ride at all or who are still very wobbly when trying to ride without support. A great session to get children ready for a year of exciting cycling!
Open to ages 4 - 11 and group sizes will be kept small, so everyone gets the maximum benefit from the session.
You'll need to bring along your child's pedal bike (without stabilisers). Helmets and balance bikes for practice will be provided. Please let us know if your child's bike is unsuitable and they can borrow one of ours.
It's up to you whether you stay at the session or not. On occasions, parents staying has hindered their child's progression. You know your child best, so we leave the decision to you.
Cost: £10 / child
Venue: Carr Manor Community School, Leeds.
After booking, you'll receive a consent form a week before half term with all the details you'll need for the day. Please feel free to contact us in the meantime with any questions - amy.wright@cycleleeds.org.uk
All Cycle Leeds sessions are led by our fully qualified and experienced National Standards cycling instructors.
