Roundhay Park (old tram terminus)

Main car park (former tram terminus for Roundhay Park), at the junction of Prince’s Avenue and Lidgett Park Road (near main park gates/skate park).

Roundhay Easy Ride

The meeting point is by the tennis courts at Roundhay Park near Tropical World.

The regular riders will decide on the destination at the meeting point.  Hilary is the ride leader but someone else may actually navigate the route.  It is likely to include a refreshment stop somewhere on route, the actual choice may be weather dependent.

Gerri will lead a ride through quiet roads and country lanes north of Leeds to the Donkey Sanctuary at Eccup where we will stop for refreshments and perhaps a chat with a donkey.

Allan will lead a ride through quiet roads and country lanes north of Leeds passing through a ford and stopping for refeshments at Greenscapes Nursery where homemade goodies are usually available for purchase.

The ride starts from by the tennis courts at Roundhay Park.

Gerri will lead a ride to Eccup donkey sanctuary for refreshments.  The ride is on quiet suburban roads and country lanes, suitable for all types of bike.

As ever with Easy Rides we go at the pace of the slowest rider with plenty of stops, everyone welcome.

The route includes crossing a ford followed by a fairly stiff climb, where we will definitely stop to admire the view and wait for everyone to recover from the exertion of the climb before proceeding to the refreshments.
